I’d also like to add on to last week’s Spring plans.
Those aren’t shows that we will do, they’re shows that we’re somewhat interested in, and would do if things work out.
There’re many other shows that we’re looking at.
However, manpower is an issue and we wouldn’t want to pick up more than we handle.

This is why we’ll be recruiting again.
For now, we’re only looking for translators, but we’ll probably open up recruitment for other positions later.

Exam papers are the final bosses of fansubbing.

We’re recruiting Translators and Timers for Winter 2013.
At FFF, we’re open to whichever shows the staff is interested in.
Contributing members get to decide whichever show we pick up.
90% of the staff get to work on a show they like.
We’re still pretty much undecided in terms of Winter shows, except for Sasami-san.

All applicants will receive tests.

Translator: A short 3 minute clip will be given as the test. You’re expected to translate from Japanese into English accurately. Good English ™ is a huge plus.

Timer: You’ll be given a 10 minute clip to time, which has various kinds of dialog which often appear in Anime.

Applicants are expected to be dedicated to whichever show they might sign up for should they pass.
Please refrain from applying if you’re already overloaded with work from school / work / etc.

Edit: Editor recruitment closed for now. We’ve gotten quite a number of applicants and we haven’t graded all of them.

Releases might be delayed for the next 3 weeks depending on the show.
Most of the staff have exams sometime during the next 3 weeks and delays are unavoidable for some shows, like Hidamari Sketch.
The delays can’t be helped unless someone donates translators to us!
Winter is coming, if you know what I mean.

The site was down for a while due to a domain provider shift.
It should be working for most people by now.

The more recent files have been uploaded at the moment, we’ll upload the rest of the files gradually over the next week or so.
