I’d also like to add on to last week’s Spring plans.
Those aren’t shows that we will do, they’re shows that we’re somewhat interested in, and would do if things work out.
There’re many other shows that we’re looking at.
However, manpower is an issue and we wouldn’t want to pick up more than we handle.

This is why we’ll be recruiting again.
For now, we’re only looking for translators, but we’ll probably open up recruitment for other positions later.

Editor recruitment is closed at the moment. I’ve sent emails to all the previous applicants.
DDL will be down for a day or two because of late payment, nothing should be lost.
We’re still looking for timers / translators, requirements are on the post below.

Btooom 10 is @TLC —> QC. We’ll try to push it out before the weekends.
Hidamari Sketch this week will be late. The translator and editor both have exams.

Exam papers are the final bosses of fansubbing.

We’re recruiting Translators and Timers for Winter 2013.
At FFF, we’re open to whichever shows the staff is interested in.
Contributing members get to decide whichever show we pick up.
90% of the staff get to work on a show they like.
We’re still pretty much undecided in terms of Winter shows, except for Sasami-san.

All applicants will receive tests.

Translator: A short 3 minute clip will be given as the test. You’re expected to translate from Japanese into English accurately. Good English ™ is a huge plus.

Timer: You’ll be given a 10 minute clip to time, which has various kinds of dialog which often appear in Anime.

Applicants are expected to be dedicated to whichever show they might sign up for should they pass.
Please refrain from applying if you’re already overloaded with work from school / work / etc.
