No, we will not replace our Hibike editor. No, we don’t want any of you to edit it for us. No, we are not dropping this. No, this is not going to delay our Winter projects. No to any other silly questions regarding Hibike that have been asked or that you’re about to ask because I won’t be responding to any.
Gonna make this quick because I have to be up early.
First off, here in Australia it’s currently 1 AM on the 25th, so Merry Christmas everyone!
I was planning to have a special (or rather, highly anticipated) release ready for today, but unfortunately it wasn’t ready in time. Some of you probably know what it is. We did make a lot of progress on it however, and I’m fairly sure it will be out some time early or mid next week.
Next, I’m sure a lot of you are wondering about the lack of releases. As for Hibike, that is stalled at the editor who became very busy with work over the last 2 months. He’s been chipping away at it recently and he’s just basically finished episode 6. I don’t know when the rest will be done. I don’t see this particular editor working on anything much in the future once Hibike is finished, but I assure you it will be. I’ve seen a lot of people saying (not to me, because they’re all shitposters and slanderers) that the group is dead, and that as of what’s happened to Hibike, we’ve come to a halt and given up on TV releases. This is not true and the situation with the person editing Hibike will not affect our ability to work on other shows.
As for my BD projects, to elaborate on what I said in the DAL movie post, I put them off to focus on some of the things that have been stalled for a long time on account of being too much work, such as the DAL movie and the special release planned for next week. As I’ve already said, after that I’ll be wrapping up the Love Live movie, and then I’ll be resuming my BD projects (Saijaku, Sakurasou, DAL DC, Sunshine, New Game, etc.) This too, will not affect our ability to work on new TV projects.

The LL Movie script was finally finished a week or two ago, so I’ll be wrapping that up next, and then I’ll be resuming my BD projects. As for Hibike, that’s stalled at the editor, who has been very busy with work lately. I’m not sure I can give an ETA, but he has been making steady (albeit slow) progress on 06. As for KmE’s BD projects, they’re stalled at him being lazy and playing too much Skyrim or something. Feel free to harass him.

Bit of a TL note: What Shido and Yoshino are doing ~28 minutes in is a Japanese variation of Rock Paper Scissors where the winner of each round gets to advance up a number of steps equal to the number of kana characters in a particular word corresponding to what they used to win: “Glico” for rock, “pineapple” for paper, and “chocolate” for scissors. For example, chocolate is チョコレイト, and pineapple is パイナップル, so a win with paper or scissors allows advancing 6 steps. Shido and Yoshino recite these characters as they count their steps. Glico is グリコ, so a win with rock only allows advancing 3 steps.
While I’m at it, yoshiyoshi is what one says when petting someone (as Shido is at 28:52), and kurukuru means spinning around (as Kurumi is at 39:00). Fucking name puns.
Not sure what happened this week. I was away for a few days and I think it got stuck a few times being passed between the TLC and the editor. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen for 04.

This release dedicated to people who were patient and didn’t threaten me to release it when I had no control over it.
The episode is double length, so it took a bit longer. In future, we’ll be aiming to release each episode at least before the following episode airs, and hopefully much sooner than that.
