I have mixed feelings about this adaptation.
While I feel they did some things right, like showing the Verethragna arc first,
so the story was in chronological order, I disliked how they squeezed the entire volume into a single episode.
Most of the story was rushed in the anime, and they tried to give Liliana and Athena more screentime by introducing them earlier,
and even altering most of the Ame no Murakumo arc.
Some of the details were done wrongly, like how Ame no Murakumo was a sword instead of a katana,
and how Godou just wielded multiple abilities at once in the final non canon metis arc.
Art wise, Diomedea did a pretty good job, I feel. I really liked seeing Liliana animated.
The OST and voice acting are pretty top tier. You get Hikasa Yoko, Kitamura Eri, Hanazawa Kana and there was Misawa Sachika too!
I would recommend reading the novels from the beginning if you’ve enjoyed the TV adaptation.
