DATE A LIVE – 02v0
Firstly, I’d like to address an issue.
The Nico rip of Date A Live is extremely terrible and looks bad, like you all know.
It also has a different framerate from the TV versions.
I’ll have to retypeset Date A Live twice every week because of that.
Date A Live isn’t exactly a ts light show. I counted at least 50 signs this week.
I did most of the important and unread ones, but I skipped about 12 signs.
From next week onwards, NicoNico DAL releases will only contain important signs, and we’ll be adding the extra ones in TV version.
It’s not like the signs are really difficult to do, but because the raw is so terrible, the framerate issues limit what I’m able to do.
We’re continuing to do these NicoNico versions as a “preview” of sorts to the people who can’t wait for the actual TV airing.
I don’t wish to have to stall these for days on end to slowly finish up the typesetting.

It’s Tohka, the “Princess”‘s arc now.
Next will be the “Hermit” and then the “Nightmare”.
Blame that grain effect whenever spirits appear for the filesize.
We have more anime coming up, thanks to all of the staff who worked extremely hard despite having to do 3 shows in one night.
I think archdeco deserves special mention for staying up till about 6am yesterday, sleeping 3 hours, and then timing all 3 shows in one go.
Things should go smoother next week onwards.

There’s a weird chanting thing in the middle of the episode which we left unsubbed, since we couldn’t understand it.
If anyone understands the language used, please inform us so we can fix it in the TV airings.
Sasami is still untranslated, we’ll probably deliver around TuesdayWednesday or so.
Due to feedback regarding Red Data Girl, we’ll be including TLC in our workflow.
Red Data Girl will thus, be slower from this week’s episode onwards.
I’ll be releasing Maoyuu and Love Live batches later.
