And here I am still waiting for Hibike S2 ep. 8. After over a year. xD I am promising myself I will only watch FFFansubs Hibike. I don’t care how long, but as long they say they won’t drop it, then I won’t drop that opportunity either. ;)
There’s only few though. I’m watching Nanatsu no Taizai S2 from Chyuu, Shokugeki from FFF, Mahoutsukai no Yome from Commie (they are behind but hey it’s free I’m waiting). The rest is all HorribleSubs I think, and really it’s just as the name says, and that I have no other choice lol. Official subs are terrible :(
From what I see all most groups do is dl the HS release, rip the script out then completely fuck up a good script by removing honorifics and changing otherwise good flowing text into a complete mess.
Honestly, for 9 out of every 10 anime released these days, HS/CR have the best script for them.
Anime fansubbing is nothing like it used to be 5-10 years ago.
I politely disagree with sparky… even if some groups make a mess out of HS releases I cant consider them the best group… not even a decent one at that. Sure, fansub groups arent what they used to and there is very few left that do a decent job (even fewer that do a good one)… but even them, those that clean and correct HS/CR releases are putting out better quality than HS/CR for the most part… HS/CR releases have just horrible translation… you can get the general idea but they completely screw with the tone, personality of some characters and the important details

Personally I’m willing to wait for as long as it would take if it means getting a release from you guys, but life happens.

I was really hoping there would be more Shokugeki from you guys since you have the best quality atm for the show… and even tho there are subs for the ovas… i cant stand stuffs like translating nandemonai as “fudgetboutit” (yes, just like that, nospaces)… Also… what sort of miracle would keep you guys working on this show? =)
Are you no longer doing the Shokugeki no Souma Ni no Sara OVAs? Or at least the 2nd one? I hear the 2nd one is important for season 3 and acts as prequel. Please can you at least do that before calling it quits. Thanks for your work on this franchise thus far.

HorribleSubs are just a straight rip of crunchyroll, there’s a reason there are so many groups out there that edit and clean up crunchyroll. :P

Horriblesubs only do TV releases too, not BDs
