We’ll be switching to using the CR script next week onwards because there’s really no point in translating the whole thing ourselves when CR is out 1.5h later.
convexity will probably do a TLC pass on the CR script.
We intended to do Hagure Yuusha, but :translators where: . We’re in need of a TLC for Dakara H too.

Letter from the Editor
This is just a note about some editing decisions I’ve made for this show and the reasons behind them.
1. Western name order – All the names in the Japanese audio are in western order except for the Kusanagis’. Adding to that, the show is set in Italy. Western order wins.
1.4 Honorifics – Honorifics are dropped or western ones, like “Lady,” are substituted. I didn’t even do this, the translator did （ ｀ー´）
2. Untranslated Italian – These parts are not meant to be understood. Most of the original audience wouldn’t understand these lines, so it’d be cheating if I translated these for fansub viewers. Plus, it’s incorrect Italian.
3. Baka-Tsuki terminology – Baka-Tsuki can do their own thing. While their conservative translations of the books’ terminology is technically correct, some of it doesn’t have the right feel to it.
3a. Raptor: This is technically correct for “ootori,” but it’s 2012 now, not 1990. Language changes, and “raptor” has taken on a new meaning, eclipsing the original. We went with the lackluster “bird of prey” as an alternative.
3b. Authority: I changed this to “Divine Right,” because it gets the point across better without sounding out-of-place.
3c. Devil King: “Demon Lord” just sounds better, okay?

I haven’t watched the first episode, but it looks like a student council based visual novel adaptation, and has chocolate as a theme.
People who’ve enjoyed stuff like Mashiri-iro, Amagami SS and Fortune Arterial should enjoy this.
Sengoku Collection will be coming later, after the OP/ED gets translated and styled.

DxD volume 5 will be out on the 25th of July, so no DxD till then!

It’s been a busy week for me at school, I haven’t really done much fansubbing.
While my tests are over for the week, I still have more lectures to attend and tests to study for.
As such, I haven’t really been able to work on Medaka Box & Nekogami batches.
Someone also reminded me about me forgetting to batch Mitsudomoe after that OVA release months ago.
I’ll try to get at least Nekogami and Mitsudomoe done by the weekend. Medaka requires more effort and work.

Anyway, regarding the concerns some of you have regarding the 8bit alternative I mentioned on my last post.
We’re still working on it, it might or might not happen, the programmer is being lazy. ( ¬‿¬)
If we decide to drop it, I’ll be continuing to do 8bit encodes either way, so no worries.
The alternative won’t be 480p, it will cater to compatibility purposes better than our current offering.
I’ll write a post about it when the time comes.

We’ll be doing Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate with our shinyuu from rori as Pomf.

I highly recommend watching this series if you enjoy comedy. It’s a gem.
8bit encodes are on hold for now, in a few days, we’ll have a replacement system coming up if things go as planned.
DxD is waiting for a QC pass right now and should be up in a day or two.

Another of our summer picks! Initially it was gonna be a convexity translated series, but CR picked it up, so we’ll go with a CR TLC’d script.
We’ll be using AT-X raws for the actual airing, which will probably have less censoring.
Most of the staff working on the project are really looking forward to the actual airing.

An OVA we decided to pick up while waiting for DxD BDMVs!
It’s borderline hentai, so be careful when you’re watching it. We were stuck between using FFFappers or FFF when releasing.
We have something else coming up in a while, as soon as it gets QC’ed!
THe DxD BDMVs just went up on share like 2 hours ago, it’s still downloading.

This is one of the better eps thus far. We get to see what happened to Nobunaga after her previous appearances, and some updates on Ieyasu and Kenshin.
It’s also the mandatory beach episode for every single anime!
With this, we’re done with Spring 2012 with zero backlogs of the weeklies!
We’ve looked at the Medaka Box special and decided against subbing it because it was just the seiyus playing quiz games, and is pretty much a waste of time.
There’s yet to be a BDMV of DxD Vol4 uploaded on share, but we’ll be on the lookout for one. When it gets uploaded, you can be damn sure we’ll release it asap.

Anyway, as you can see, we’ve updated the site’s design, courtesy of ryuu_zer0. I’ll be fixing more links gradually, as Depositfiles is gay as fuck and doesn’t like me.
