We’ve already been releasing the most volumes amongst Bluray release groups for the past few years. We did 161 volumes in 2015, a record for us. This year, we have a more ambitious aim than a volume every three days. We’ll be trying to do one volume of bluray per weekday, with extra stuff like specials and batches on weekends if we’re able to fit it into our schedules. That’s 261 volumes of Bluray releases in total! We’ve already released six so far, so that’s four ahead of our plan. They’ll cover for days when we’re away due to certain events. To help us hit our target, we’ll have another donation drive to purchase more unuploaded shows once we finish releasing Shokugeki no Souma and Dog Days S3, which I’ve just shipped yesterday.

Also, in order to help further our plans for Blurays, we need translators to help with TV releases. Please apply through the form if you’re interested.

Finally, I’d like to add that just because we’re going to do more Blurays this year, doesn’t mean you can start posting your entire list of Blurays you’d like us to do. We are still going to do shows based on interest. This is not changing.

I’ll try and keep this short. Unlike last season, this is not a season of change so there’s not much to talk about, and I have no intention of being Eien and giving you a massive tl;dr wall of text every three months.

There is one thing to talk about though. Last season was somewhat of a disaster due to most of our shows ending up stalled. I’ve personally spoken to every staff member responsible for a backlogged TV project—including the older ones—about their completion. They will all be finished. There’s one exception: Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is officially dropped. You can stop asking about it now. Stop asking about the other shows too for that matter.

Looks like the time has come for me to step up.

Things are going to be changing here at FFF this season, though maybe not as much as you’d think. Eien spoke about it in the Spring plans post so I won’t talk about it too much. As far as the change in leadership goes, the only difference that should matter to most of you is that I’ll be doing most of the blog posts from now on.

But aside from the change in leadership, there are still some changes. With our most active typesetter leaving halfway through the season, and our second most active typesetter having less time over the next few months, we will not be picking up as many new shows as we’ve been known to, at least for Summer. This also brings me to mention that recruitment has still not closed since Spring.

Next, you may have noticed that recently our DDL server has changed. FFFddl.org is no more. Our DDL is now hosted at bell.aoi-chan.com and future release posts will point there. Updating the older posts will be more effort than it’s worth though, so expect existing release posts to have broken DDL links. Visit bell.aoi-chan.com to get our older releases via DDL.

Before I get to our Summer plans, I unfortunately need to announce some drops. Due to members of our staff leaving or going missing, along with other staffing issues, the following shows are hereby dropped and will not be completed:

Other shows which this will surely bring people to ask about such as Highschool DxD BorN, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, Sword Art Online II, Seiken Tsukai no World Break, Inou Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Zoku, and any other Spring shows we fell behind on, are NOT dropped. Please do not ask when they will be completed.

We’ve finally hit our fifth anniversary milestone! I think our Spring 2015 plans really shouldn’t be a surprise, with the amount of second seasons, but you’ll see!

It’s time for yet another boring post from yours truly. This will probably be the second last time that I’m going to be the one who writes these posts that everyone looks forward to, even though it’s always late. I will elaborate on it the next time I write this. We’ll go over some more interesting details instead.

Winter has ended, and Spring is already upon us.
I’ve probably already used this opening once, or maybe twice.
I usually try to not reuse my opening lines for news posts, but this time,
I’m writing without any reference to the past posts I’ve written, so you’ll have to deal with what my creativity churns out.

As 2013 draws to an end, I would like to remind our Golden Time followers to wake up from the nightmare
that is Linda and start worshiping the true goddess, Kouko, the best Golden Time.
While that is what I would have liked to write about, there’re other things I have to write about.
